ABOUT THE GAS HALON:
The Halon gas is an extinguishing agent of chemical compounds used to put out fires without leaving residue, the most used are the Halon 1211 and Halon 1301. However, due its power of destruction of the ozone layer, its production was prohibited by Protocol of Montreal.   Brazil, concomitantly with other countries that have signed the protocol, allows companies accredited by IBAMA and CETESB receive and recycle the gases in order to meet the fire protection needs since it was not developed other substitute with the same efficiency for such a task.
 
SERVICES:
Gespi has the largest gas reserve of gas Halon in Brazil and is certified by IBAMA and CETESB to promote the recycling and receive the Disposal of Halon of another companies that are disabling or modernizing their fire fighting systems.

In addition, the company is qualified to do the review and hydrostatic testing of Halon extinguishers used in:

  • Fire extinction in the air and maritime navigation;

  • Military applications;

  • Cultural and artistic collections;

  • plants and transformation of electrical and nuclear energy;

  • Marine platforms for oil extraction.
